For 47 years I have loved being part of the AE/MS community. I want to extend my gratitude to everyone working in the school, who made the journey so enjoyable – especially those who no longer can hear my praise – Judy Rayno, George Corson, John Seymour, Roger Pellerin, Bill Jenkins, Helen Poblenz, Joan Gross, and Jo Crisp, to name a few.

To the parents of Andover children over the whole four plus decades… you have always been supportive of your school and I will carry that with me. Thank you for entrusting your children to us.  They make our world!

Most importantly, I want to give a HUGE shout out to my wife/partner of the past 35 years, Kathy Halliday Hildebrand. Her encouragement and unwavering support have meant the world to me. Her creative ideas for things I could try in the classroom were met with glee by the kids and gave me pause as to why SHE wasn’t the teacher!  Anyone who received an ‘end of second grade poster’ in recent years has seen her zentangle lettering, which represents 100s of hours of detail work.  Thank you, Kathy, for YOUR service to AE/MS.
